When you apply for a grant from the Otto Mønsted Foundation, you must fill out an electronic application form in our scholarship system and provide a number of information, including personal data. The Foundation registers this information electronically and uses it in the processing of your application.

The personal data will be deleted after 6 months if your application is not approved or submitted.

If your application is successful, the data will be deleted after 5 years.

As an applicant, you have the right to object to the way we use your data, and we will delete your data as soon as possible and always within one month if you so wish – provided that you have not been awarded a scholarship.

The foundation’s registration and processing of personal data is subject to the Personal Data Act.

When you create your application, you must consent to the information – including the personal data you have provided in the application – being subject to electronic registration and processing.

When awarding grants, the Otto Mønsted Foundation is obliged to report to SKAT under tax legislation. The reporting of awarded grants is based on CPR numbers or CVR numbers, depending on who is to be taxed on the awarded grant.

The foundation also uses the information entered to create statistics at a general level about applicants, recipients and awarded grants. The statistics are used internally at the Otto Mønsted Foundation for case processing and for external relevant publication in annual reports and on the Foundation’s website.
