It was a big day on 25 May when the Otto Mønsted Foundation presented The Bright Idea Award for the fourth time. The award came with DKK 600,000 for three researchers and their work to further develop their dazzling ideas that promote the development of hydrogen cars, LED and circular construction.

Ahmed Ammar, postdoc at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and Luca Piccirilli, PhD student at the Department of Chemistry, DTU. They both received DKK 250,000.

The jury also chose to award a runner-up prize of DKK 100,000 to Jannike Borg, MSc student at the Department of Business Development and Technology at Aarhus University.
