Join us today at 12.30pm when we livestream the unveiling of this year’s winners of the Bright Idea award, who will take home DKK 500,000.
On 25 May, the Chairman of the Otto Mønsted Foundation, Nis Alstrup (photo), will reveal the winner of this year’s Bright Idea Award and DKK 500,000. The Bright Idea Award is awarded annually to honour innovative talents at Danish universities and give them a financial backing to further develop their ideas.
The Bright Idea 2022 competition targets research ideas at different stages of development. There is an Early-stage category, where ideas are still diamonds in the rough but need to show potential to shine commercially, while the second category of Late-stage submissions includes mature ideas that typically also have a prototype or a well-defined service to showcase. The winners of the two categories will each receive DKK 250,000.
You can watch the awards ceremony when we livestream the ceremony at 12.30pm via the Otto Mønsted Foundation Facebook profile. You can sign up for the video event here. When you enter here, simply search for the event “The Bright Idea 2022 Award Ceremony”.
